Japan

A personal photography project exploring the rhythm, texture, and contrast of everyday life across Tokyo, Kyoto, and Nogano. Blending candid street photography with cultural storytelling, I aimed to capture the harmony between Japan’s modern energy and its quiet traditions, from neon-lit crossings in Shibuya to serene temples. Working with natural light and minimal gear, I focused on authentic human moments, architectural geometry, and subtle emotional tones. The resulting collection reflects a balance of movement and stillness—revealing Japan not just as a place, but as a feeling of presence and impermanence.
